Leeds Art Gallery
Built in 1888 the Art gallery has some beautiful spaces.
Theatre
In the centre of the gallery is a large double height lecture theatre with part-raked and part-moveable seating. With projection room and breakout facilities, the space is ideal for a presentation of up to 200 people.
Galleries
The Ziff Gallery has many original features to match the striking Victorian art. Upstairs, toplit galleries create more contemporary light and airy spaces to reflect the modern collection, whilst the Sculpture Gallery on a series of different levels creates more intriguing intimate spaces. All of these galleries are available to hire for receptions.
The Tiled Hall
This awe-inspiring and beautiful room, had been closed off and hidden behind library shelves for many years. It is more than half a century since the public have seen the hall, where intricate, colourful Victorian tile work, marble columns and the oak, ebony and walnut parquet floor have been lovingly restored. A stunning space available suitable to hire for many occasions.
